What Makes Us Different?

In a global market there are few remaining trade secrets that give one a strategic advantage. We have found one under-utilized secret that continues to give strategic advantage; it is unleashing the full potential of all people. We believe that to truly deliver step change, sustainable results in diversity and inclusion you must reach individuals at the heart level. Organizations have been making great progress in the field of diversity and inclusion, learning to unleash the power of all individuals within their organizations. But studies show that even the best organizations are still only capitalizing on 60-70% of the talent of their people.

Our unique, transformational workshops are designed to drive step-change, sustained commitment to diversity and inclusion from all individuals within your organization. These transformational workshops provide in-depth learning and focus on the role every one of us has in breaking down barriers, no matter who we are. We make inclusion not about “us” and “them” but about “all of us” and the role each of us plays in making the workplace a genuinely inclusive place to be. We move people beyond the practical understanding of diversity and inclusion to truly understanding at the heart level the powerful difference an inclusive workplace can provide.

Legacy's History

Legacy Unlimited’s signature program offerings, the “Women Supporting Women©” (WSW©) and “People Supporting People©” (PSP©) workshops, were created in 1991 within Procter & Gamble(P&G). WSW© and PSP© became P&G’s top corporate initiative in 1999 and continues as its top corporate initiative today. This initiative is designed to drive diversity and inclusion progress, leadership development, cultural change, and globalization and business success. P&G has spent $17million dollars on this initiative since 1991 and continues spending $1.2 million per year.

In 2005, the then Global Leader for these programs, Ms. Denise Andrews, left P&G to found Legacy Unlimited. Based on her extensive history and success with these programs, Procter &Gamble chose Legacy Unlimited to be the exclusive provider for delivering their breakthrough WSW© / PSP© courses externally.

Procter & Gamble’s research found that for every 1,000 people trained, they realized $45 million(USD) per year in savings. These savings resulted from participants’ improvements in productivity, more effective relationships with co-workers, improved retention, and risk reduction.

In addition they gained:

  • Deeper insights to meet local and global consumer needs
  • Improved innovation
  • Improved integration of acquisitions
  • Improved utilization, retention, and productivity
  • A stronger pool of diverse executives
  • Increased leadership mastery and passion to unleash personal and collective potential
  • More people positioned to be great leaders
  • Improved and sustained results

These workshops continue to see tremendous success and have now been brought to over 8,000 people in more than 103 countries. They have been successfully conducted in the United States, Canada, Japan, France, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Belgium, Switzerland, China, Mexico, Venezuela, Korea, Egypt, Poland, Lebanon, Morocco, Argentina, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Romania, the U.A.E, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Hungary and Brazil.

While WSW© / PSP© remain Legacy Unlimited’s signature offerings, we have now expanded well beyond these offerings to include a full complement of diversity and inclusion programs, leadership development, as well as consulting services.
